Ghost of Yotei preorders opened today, May 2, at 10 AM ET. Three different editions are up for grabs for PS5, including a Collector’s Edition that’s exclusive to PlayStation Direct. We’d expect Ghost of Yotei’s Collector’s Edition to sell out, so Ghost of Tsushima fans should secure their preorder while you can. All Ghost of Yotei preorders come with several pieces of DLC.
If you want to play the original before Ghost of Yotei’s release, you can pick up Ghost of Tsushima’s Director’s Cut for $49.49 (was $70) right now. Ghost of Yotei takes place 300-plus years after Ghost of Tsushima, so you don’t technically need to play Sucker Punch Productions’ first entry in the action series. That said, playing it would give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from Yotei. Though the cast of characters is entirely new, the premise and themes will sound familiar. You’ll once again embark on a revenge mission as “The Ghost.”
Ghost of Yotei Preorder Bonuses
Preorder any edition of Ghost of Yotei to unlock an exclusive in-game mask, plus seven PSN avatars. These feature concept art of characters from the game–including the main character Atsu and the notorious Yotei Six. It’s unclear if there will be any retailer-exclusive preorder bonuses.

The standard edition costs $70 and includes the base game and the preorder bonuses listed above. Listings at major retailers are gradually popping up, so we will continue to update this guide as more retailers open preorders.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is available at the PlayStation Store, and it gets you a few extra in-game goodies along with the base game. This includes:
- The Snake armor
- Unique armor dye
- Unique charm
- Unique horse and saddle
- Traveler’s Maps (Early unlock)
- Sword Kit
You’ll also get any eligible preorder bonuses, making this a great way to stock up on in-game gear.

The $250 Ghost of Yotei Collector’s Edition is packed with physical goodies. Along with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, here’s what else is included:
