Art the Clown Confirmed for Dead by Daylight With Terrifier Chapter Reveal

Behaviour Interactive has revealed that Terrifier icon Art the Clown is coming to Dead by Daylight as part of a new Chapter in November.

The studio behind the ongoing asymmetrical multiplayer game announced its latest horror movie collaboration during the 10th Anniversary Broadcast today. It’s a reveal that will see one of the most brutal killers in horror movie history cut, stab, and smile his way into the game, with the Chapter currently planned to arrive at some point in November 2026.

For now, all we know about the fall crossover is that it will see Dead by Daylight receive content based on Damien Leone’s Terrifier movie series. You can see the logo and release window reveal below.

With Friday the 13th, Child’s Play, Saw, Halloween, Five Nights at Freddy’s and more classic horror representatives already part of the game, it seemed inevitable that Art the Clown would one day make his debut. That said, it doesn’t seem like anyone was expecting longtime Art actor David Howard Thornton to take the stage during the Dead by Daylight 10th Anniversary Broadcast.

Despite earning one of the biggest reactions from the crowd of fans in attendance, Behaviour didn’t have all that much to show for the new Terrifier Chapter. We can probably guess that Art will rip apart Survivors as the game’s next licensed Killer, but until the team has more to share, we’ll have to wait for any updates.

Art is a character Leone has toyed with for years, but he didn’t make his proper Terrifier debut until the premiere of the first feature-length movie in 2016. Terrifier 2 helped him become a horror household name in 2022, with 2024’s Terrifier 3 cementing him as one of the most recognizable faces in the genre. Terrifier 4 is in the works, too, though it’s expected to be the final film in Leone’s series and is currently without a release date.

“The wait is over!” Leone said in a post on social media. “For years, this has been the most requested collab and we’re thrilled to finally make it a reality for you guys. Terrifier x Dead by Daylight. An honor.”

Dead by Daylight will invite Art the Clown and the Terrifier franchise into The Fog this November. In the meantime, you can catch up on everything announced at the 10th Anniversary Broadcast. You can also check out what Behaviour had to say about its game being “the most-played horror game in history.”
