The One UI 8 rollout continues with phones from 2024 and 2023. This is happening ahead of schedule, but right now it appears that only devices in Korea are getting the new OS version.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 (both from 2023) are joining their 2024 Z siblings in Android 16. This is a limited release for now, though, and only devices in Korea that are running the beta version are seeing the stable update (F946NKSU5FYI8). For them, it’s a relatively small update of just around 420MB.

The Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE are also getting in on the action. If you are updating from One UI 7, it’s a hefty 3.2GB update, but if you are running the beta, then it’s a smaller 470MB download. This also includes the September 1 security patch. The S24 FE got its stable update a few days ago, by the way. Again, this is hitting phones in Korea first, though it seems that phones in Vietnam are seeing it too.
We’re also seeing reports that the Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 are being updated – again, starting with the Korean version. The A55 update (A556SKSU6CYI6) is a 1.9GB download. As for the newer models, the A36 and A56 received stable One UI 8 a few days ago.

Keep in mind that this is ahead of schedule – according to Samsung Brazil, the rollout for the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, the S23 series and the A55 was supposed to start on October 2. So, if you are not seeing the One UI 8 update notification today, try again in a few days.
Besides Samsung phones, One UI 8 is coming to tablets too. The Tab S11 series runs it out of the box, the Galaxy Tab S10+ becomes the first slate to get it as an update.
