This game gave us an incredibly long spangram and some very tricky to find words.
Of course, it makes sense that CONTORTIONIST was a twisty turny word you piece together, but the other words were well hidden too and I need a hint to get me started.
The other standout from today’s game is how many very long non-game words there were lurking on the grid and I got one of my longest yet with “contractions”.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a fully fledged member of the NYT’s games stable that has been running for a year and which can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
